Click the Greek letters on the virtual keyboard, or use your physical keyboard with the standard Greek (220) layout: the "a" key types α, "b" types β, "g" types γ, and so on. Hold Shift for capital letters.
Press the Shift key. The virtual keyboard will show the capitals, and the same applies on a physical keyboard: Shift+a types Α, Shift+o types Ω, Shift+v types Ω on the "v" key (Greek omega is on the English "v" position in the 220 layout).
Both are sigma. σ (sigma) is used inside words, while ς (final sigma) is used only at the end of a word. On the Greek keyboard, the "w" key types the final sigma ς, and ς also appears at the end of words automatically when you type σ.
